Pet Microchipping Services

Our skilled veterinary team injects a small, implantable microchip just beneath your pet’s skin so that it can be easily located and scanned. This chip contains a unique identification number that can be read by any standard microchip reader and fulfills international microchip standards.
Permanent Identification:
Microchips provide a permanent and unalterable form of identification for your pets. This ensures that even if collars or tags are lost, your pet’s identity and your contact information remain accessible. Information associated with a pet’s microchip (name, phone number, address) is assigned at implantation but can be altered through the microchip provider company by the owner if needed. It is of the utmost importance to maintain up-to-date microchip information when you move or change your phone number!
Universal Scanning and Lost Pet Recovery:
Microchips are compatible with universal scanners used by veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and other animal care organizations that might receive your animal if you are separated from them. This facilitates an expedited process of reuniting lost pets with their owners. Our microchips also fulfill the requirements for international standards if you plan on traveling with your pet.
HomeAgain Microchip Services
Our clinic uses HomeAgain microchips in all of our applications. In addition to the basic microchip service, HomeAgain offers additional features like Lost Pet Specialists, proactive alerts, and access to a network of veterinarians and pet professionals.
The first year of all of these services is included when we place one of their chips and you are registered for them at the time of implantation. Whether you decide to continue receiving the additional services offered by HomeAgain or not, your chip will always remain active and readable for ready identification for the lifetime of your pet!
